David Maglione and Tomas Ruiz began writing together during the summer of 2013. An idea to write a song for the Gypsy Housing Facebook page became a one act musical and a sold-out debut concert “The Music of Maglione & Ruiz… Wait, Who?” at Stage 72, The Triad. Their first musical, Wendy’s Shadow, recently was featured in NYMF’S Concert Series and was named one of Playbill.com’s “Top 10 Shows Not Too Miss At NYMF.” Their music has been featured at The Laurie Beechman, 54 Below, NJ, and around the country.
