– The Village Voice

EXO-TECH is a New York collective of musicians and improvisers formed by SOPHIA BROUS and NZ pop innovator KIMBRA. Exploring intersections between collective improvisation and energetic song-form composition, EXO-TECH traverses fields between Talking Heads, Can, The Knife and the Art Ensemble of Chicago, as much influenced by modern pop and rnb as by free jazz, avant garde improvisation and film music. Features an ensemble of some of New York and beyond’s most respected music luminaries.
