Irish American Baritone Emmett O’Hanlon was born and raised in New York City. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Voice from the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati, where he also performed as a soloist with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. He went on to join the prestigious Julliard School in New York, where he received a Masters Degree in Voice. He toured as lead singer with the group Celtic Thunder and completed his first successful sold out Solo tour of the US this past August. On October 25th Emmett tied for the second place prize at the XIV Altamura/Caruso International Voice Competition; the competition drew participants from 23 countries on five continents. He is participating in this season’s Metropolitan Opera workshop production of Scott Wheeler’s The Sorrows of Frederick.

 
Widely regarded as one of Ireland’s most exciting young performers, multi-award winning Irish Tenor Emmet Cahill is no stranger to performing on stage both in Ireland and in the United States. He studied Opera at The Royal Irish Academy of Music Dublin and for the past 4 years Emmet has been touring the world as lead singer with the group Celtic Thunder. During that time, he performed to audiences of thousands throughout North America, Europe and Australia. The group’s albums reached number 1 on the world music charts in many territories. Emmet has been named ‘The Most promising Young singer’ at the RIAM as well as ‘Irelands Most promising Young Tenor’ by the John Mc Cormack Society in Dublin.
