ColemanCollective, a multidisciplinary art company, aims to produce art in various forms. This group features choreographers, dancers, actors, writers, visual artists, cinematographers, musicians, and other creators who seek to share with artists of diverse disciplines and like interests, through PERFORMANCE, EDUCATION and COLLABORATION. The artistic direction is suggested by Cain A. Coleman Jr. and Matthew Perez, while the collaborators they bring on, inevitably bend that vision, to create something dynamically transcultural. Since being founded in June 2016, the Collective has been presented throughout NYC (Gibney Dance, Le Poisson Rouge, and Abrons Arts Center), toured both nationally and internationally, been recognized in press (newspapers, blogs, radio, etc.), and landed a fashion publication in Elle Magazine’s January 2017 issue.
