Christmas Eve with I Love Vinyl

Dec

21

November 26th’s I Love Vinyl party was as epically excellent as ever. If you weren’t there to feel the love, fret not; the whole set has been preserved for you and your loved ones on the I Love Vinyl website, so you can recreate everything about the evening except the people, drinks, ambience, and use of actual turntables.

If that isn’t enough, greedy listener, make sure you catch the last I Love Vinyl party of the year in The Gallery at LPR this Saturday, Christmas Eve, at 10pm. Recent parties have all serendipitously taken place on resident DJs’ birthdays, and Saturday is no exception. While you shake and shimmy away all your sins preparing for Santa to bring you a Kindle, don’t forget to buy DJ Ge-Ology a festive birthday drink, like straight vodka. Because if you think about it, having one’s birthday overshadowed by Christmas probably isn’t much fun (it probably sucks. I bet his parents totally took advantage of that.) Plus, if you want some brownie points from Santa, this would be the perfect opportunity to ward off coal stockings. Then maybe Ge-Ology will even be forced to play your request for a tired holiday jingle everyone will grumble over. And after all, isn’t that what Christmas is all about? (Ask for Santa Baby!)

Still unconvinced, Scrooge? Consider the following shots from the last party.

These weren’t even the happiest people there.

Plus, it’s only five bucks if you RSVP before 11pm right here. See you this Saturday!
